There are some nice shots of LAIKA's brillinat 'CORALINE' workshop, and a mini spotlight on AKA's LOST AND FOUND. (note: This version is in Mandarin, they'll let us know when they're putting up the English version - but we kind of like it this way!).

Thanks again to Founder/Artistic Director Nicole Dreiske and the entire CICFF team for bringing us over and including us in their amazing, one of a kind festival. Support them HERE!

LOST AND FOUND now has 61 awards and has been seen in over 170 festivals world wide!!

Alongside it's critical acclaim, has also met with an amazing response from the public.

We'd like to thank the crew - so roll credits:

PS

One of the nice things about the above awards list was via the Chulpicine Film Festival where Lost and Found won 1st prize in the 3 to 6 year olds category, ( & In which Varmints also won 1st prize in the 7 to 14 year olds category!)

The Chulpicine Film Festival is for Kids & Teenagers in Ecuador, and  strives to make it possible for every community, neighbourhood, and school to have free access to screenings. We are very happy to be informed that both “Lost and Found” and “Varmints” were honoured by an audiuence of about 9 thousand people who attended the traveling festival in Quito & the provinces of Imbabura, Sucumbíos, Orellana, Napo, and Pichincha.

PS. Watching the kids vote for 'PERDIDO Y ENCONTRADO' 04:05 brings a lump the throat…

Chulpicine, we can’t thank you enough.

NOMINATION! - The film has been gaining plaudits on the festival circuit and was nominated for a 2011 BAFTA in the SHORT ANIMATION category. Its worth noting that the MA Animation course at London's ROYAL COLLEGE OF ART  celebrated a triple nomination in 2011 in that ALL THREE NOMINATIONS were RCA graduation films! Surely a first?
