OLYMPIC D&AD & BAFTA
Friday, June 17, 2011 at 1:10PM OUR BBC OLYMPICS TITLES HAVE NOW WON BOTH A BAFTA & A D&AD AWARD!
The folks at D&AD have seen fit to bestow A coveted Yellow Pencil on our BBC Winter Olympics Title sequence!
Directed by AKA's Marc Craste, the titles were conceived & commissioned by RKCR/Y&R Creative Director Damon Collins, with creative team Tim McNaughton & Freddy Mandy.
Following on from the spots BAFTA win, we send another huge well done to the animation & technical design team at Studio aka ...and to the amazing Jon Klassen for his marvellous design work with Marc on the spot.

Huge congratulations go out to Studio AKA's Marc Craste, RKCR/Y&R Creative Director Damon Collins, creative team Tim McNaughton & Freddy Mandy & Studio AKA's Sharon Titmarsh who won the 2010 BAFTA TV Craft Award for BEST TV TITLES with our BBC Winter Olympics titles sequence!
